"Online works well so I don’t have to pack up all my stuff and then forget something I will need." ~ Lisa, Dunwoody, GA
"This class was well organized and thoughtfully constructed. Having handouts that followed the processes clearly was great. The numbering of the steps made it easy to follow the demonstrations that were videoed. I also appreciated that slide show of examples using mokume. Thank you. I look forward to your next class. Chisel Patterned Mokume Gane Brooch sounds excellent. A class that featured using mokume for framing such as the circular shape that originated from a ring shape as well as the heart-shaped frame would be interesting as well." ~ Cynthia, Watertown, MA
"I took a live online workshop (Riveted Photo Pendant) and couldn't have had a better experience. Anne and Ame were thoroughly prepared, the demos were excellent, shot clearly and easy to follow as well as the instructions. The kit had everything you need for the class, which is so helpful, especially at this (COVID) time. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun and we were encouraged to express ourselves (even if that meant we strayed from the project a bit). It was a great experience and I look forward to taking more classes and recommend these online workshops to anyone who likes to create, have fun and learn from an excellent instructor! " ~ Kellen, San Diego, CA
"I took Ford Hallam's "Uchidashi" class. He taught us not only skills, but how to focus on our pieces. I enjoyed myself for the 5 days with lots of filing and hammering, in addition to meeting other aspiring artists. Anneville Studio is a wonderful space to work. Anne and Ame were always helpful and made the space an instant home.I am looking forward to taking more classes!" ~ Yoko, San Diego, CA
"I had an amazing experience at a week long workshop at Anneville Studio. The studio is well equipped and comfortable to work in, Anne and Ame are perfect hosts, and the instruction was better than I could ever have expected. I highly recommend taking advantage of anything that Anneville Studio and Jewelry Lab has to offer. You will be happy that you did! " ~ Karen, Grass Valley, CA.
"Interesting class, we learned some new techniques and the challenges of working with square wire." ~ Jean, San Diego, CA
"I enjoyed the class. Thanks for your patience with a first-time attender. Your aptitude in people skills, design and teaching were exemplary." ~ Dave, Escondido, CA.
"I really enjoyed the class and doing the sample projects we did. For me it was just the right amount of activity and time to do them. Doing the sample projects was much less stressful than doing a finished jewelry project. And I would highly recommend this class to anyone who might like to learn the patina techniques taught in the class. And the teacher is excellent and provides enough instruction to guide students to learn the techniques." ~ Karen S., San Diego, CA.
"The Patina class was great fun and gave me new and wonderful patina techniques. I plan to put patina on as many item as I can find. Well worth the time and class fee. Highly recommend this class." ~ Karen R., San Diego, CA.
"The Patina class today was so much fun and a wonderful learning experience. We learned several different techniques and which metals worked best with each technique. Ann is an exceptional instructor, experienced, knowledgeable and devoted to her art. She encourages her students to develop their skills, improve their techniques and to be fearless when creating. As long as there are classes offered, I will certainly be taking them!" ~ Jean, San Diego, CA.
