Artist's Statement
Making Picasso-ish style faces is my jewelry passion. In honor of all of the medical professionals during this pandemic & before, I worked on designing a face wearing a mask and a hat with a red cross. The USA landing on Mars also inspired me to try my hand making my idea of a Martian. So I introduce to you - Flo Nightingale, Marci the Martian & Dr Kildare.

Marci the Martian
Click images to view larger. Heat textured Nu-Gold silver and copper sheet, silver & copper wire, copper tube, lapis cab, and carved scrabble tiles. Volcano setting for lapis. Tube bails on back for piece to hang either side up - ie - wire up as antenna or wire down for legs. Scrabble tiles rotates. 4" x 4" x .5".
