Emerge - San Diego Jewelry Lab’s Juried Spring Exhibition
We are thrilled to share the exceptional artwork submitted to "Emerge", our online juried exhibition.
The quality of the work was truly exceptional and the judging was tough! But, we were able to agree on some standouts and we'll share them with critiques and evaluations from our judges at the Metal Arts Adventure Opening Reception tonight! Thursday, June 17th.

About the show
As the sun warms the earth, green things emerge, slowly unfolding their leaves.
As the cold winds depart, wild animals emerge, leaving their winter dens. As the vaccines arrive, we too emerge, hugging friends and revisiting normalcy. In this time and place, like none we've ever known, what does it mean to emerge? |
Online Show Dates
6/8/21-7/20/21 |
In early Spring of 2021, San Diego Jewelry Lab invited all jewelry/metals arts artists to enter their work in online exhibit "Emerge". Pieces were juried by metalsmith and instructor Bette Barnett and Jewelry Lab co-owners Anne Wolf and Ame Stanko on craftsmanship, creativity and use of the theme and our panel of instructor judges awarded prizes for the best submissions. Exhibition was open to metalsmiths worldwide. Work could be any size; wearable, functional, or sculptural; made within the previous 12 months. Artists are welcome to offer their work for sale with no commission - buyers can contact artists directly via their online show page. All accepted entries are featured on our website and social media feeds and at Metal Arts Adventures, our live online show (great for search engine optimization).
